Trip Delay
Covered. Trip Delay Protection provides up to $500 per person per trip for reasonable expenses (meals, lodging, transportation) when a covered trip is delayed 6 or more consecutive hours.
Trip Cancellation / Interruption
Covered. Trip Cancellation and Interruption Protection reimburses up to $5,000 per trip for non-refundable travel expenses when a trip is canceled or cut short due to covered reasons (illness, injury, death, severe weather, military deployment, significant property damage, U.S. government travel warning).
Purchase protections
Extended Warranty
Covered. Extended Warranty Protection (added November 17, 2024) doubles the original manufacturer's warranty period up to a maximum of 24 additional months. If an item has no manufacturer warranty or the original warranty exceeds 24 months, no coverage applies. Coverage limit up to $10,000 per item.

Transfer Partners
ThankYou Points can be transferred to airline and hotel partners only if you also hold a premium Citi ThankYou card (e.g., Citi Strata Premier) that unlocks full transfer capabilities. As a standalone card, points redeem as cash back, gift cards, or travel at fixed rates.

Typically $200 cash back (20,000 ThankYou Points) after spending $1,500 in the first 6 months of account opening (offer may vary).
Earn Rates
2% total cash back on all purchases: 1% cash back when you make a purchase, plus an additional 1% cash back as you pay for those purchases over time. Rewards are earned as ThankYou Points (100 points = $1 cash back). No category restrictions, no caps.
