Purchase protections
Extended Warranty
Covered. Extended Warranty Protection (added November 17, 2024) doubles the original manufacturer's warranty period up to a maximum of 24 additional months. Applies to purchases with existing manufacturer warranties; if no warranty exists or the original warranty exceeds 24 months, no coverage applies. Coverage limit up to $10,000 per item.
Purchase Protection
Covered. Damage and Theft Purchase Protection covers eligible purchases against theft or accidental damage for 90 days from purchase date or delivery. Up to $1,000 per incident, up to $50,000 per year. Excludes vehicles, boats, aircraft, jewelry, watches, currency, gift cards, event tickets, and items purchased for resale.

Earn Rates
5% cash back on purchases in your top eligible spend category each billing cycle, up to the first $500 spent (then 1%). Eligible categories: restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, select travel, select transit, select streaming services, drugstores, home improvement stores, fitness clubs, and live entertainment. 1% on all other purchases. Rewards earned as ThankYou Points (100 points = $1 cash back). NOTE: DISCONTINUED for new applicants as of May 28, 2026. Existing cardholders retain full benefits.
