The companion certificate is the main driver of value on this card. It effectively acts as a BOGO for one round trip, as long as the trip is within the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico, the Caribbean, or Central America — Main Cabin only. Your companion pays only the taxes and fees ($22–$250). You can often get more value from using this once than the entire annual fee of the card.
